Biography:

Professor Quirinus Quirrell was the Defence Against the Dark Arts professor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry during Harry Potter's first year. Initially appearing timid and nervous, he possessed a severe stutter and claimed to have gained extensive knowledge of Dark Arts creatures during a sabbatical.

However, Quirrell's seemingly harmless demeanor concealed a dark secret: he was under the control of Lord Voldemort. Following Voldemort's downfall, Quirrell encountered the weakened Dark Lord and, desperate for power, agreed to serve as his host.

Voldemort resided on the back of Quirrell's head, concealed by a turban. Quirrell acted as Voldemort's agent, attempting to steal the Philosopher's Stone from Gringotts Wizarding Bank and later from Hogwarts. His ultimate goal was to restore Voldemort to full power.

During a confrontation with Harry Potter in the Mirror of Erised chamber, Quirrell was defeated. Harry's protective magic, derived from his mother's sacrifice, burned Quirrell upon contact. Ultimately, Voldemort abandoned Quirrell's dying body, resulting in the professor's demise.
